Changes to the 2016 TNI Laboratory Standard - Module 1 Proficiency Training

Synopsis

Changes to this module included:
- Removing all references and requirements related to Experimental Fields of Proficiency Testing.
- Revising te proficiency testing (PT) reporting requirement ton revert back to Proficiency Testing Reporting Limit (PTRL) reporting. Laboratories are required to evaluate and report results to the PTRL and the use of the less than (<) sign when the analyte is present in the PT sample will be evaluated as "Not Acceptable".
Changing the tracking of PT frequency based on the closing date and the required time between the closing date of one PT study and the opening date of a subsequent PT study is now 7 days.
Adding new sections for Radiochemistry, Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET), and Cryptosporidium/Giardia analysis based on input from these committees.

Certificates: A Certificate of Attendance (CoA) is provided for this training. A Certificate of Completion (CoC) may be purchased for an additional $25. A passing score of at least 70% must be received on the exam in order to receive CEUs and a CoC. Scores of less than 70% will be issued a CoA. For a CoA you will not need to take the quiz and you will not receive CEUs. See FAQs for additional information.
