Exam Preparation for a Certified Quality Management Systems Professional

Synopsis

On February 5, 2025, TNI launched a credentialing initiative with Phase One focusing on how an individual could become a Certified Quality Management Systems Professional.  One option to achieve this certification is to pass a comprehensive exam. TNI plans to offer the first credentialing examination on August 8, 2025 in St. Louis, MO, in conjunction with the 2025 Environmental Measurement Symposium. The class is designed to help individuals who plan to take the exam get prepared. Note: Any individual who registers for the August 8 exam may take this class for no additional fee.

$50 for TNI members
$65 for non members

No certificates are automatically provided with this training. A Certificate of Completion (CoC) ($30 per person) or Certificate of Attendance (CoA) ($20 per person) may be purchased. A passing score of at least 70% must be received on the exam in order to receive CEUs and a CoC. Scores of less than 70% will receive a Certificate of Attendance at no reduced fee. Jerry Parr is the Principal Scientist with Catalyst Information Resources, a company focused on providing current relevant information on environmental laboratory issues. He also serves as the Executive Director for The NELAC Institute, serves on the Advisory Board for the Environmental Laboratory Washington Report, and is the conference organizer for the National Environmental Monitoring Conference. He has a BS in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and has 40 years of experience in environmental analytical chemistry.
